I had a friend recommend that I try a copper mug because I really like my drinks very cold. I had really never heard of a copper Moscow mule mug before. I must say that I really didn't know how well I would like this mug and shot glass set, but honestly I am quite impressed. These are some really nice products. They are made very well and seem extremely sturdy. They are certainly built to last. I also like the fact they are made of metal which won't break if you drop it. I am always nervous with glass or ceramic mugs. I have broken a few through the years. It's nice to have a mug that won't shatter in a million pieces if it slips out of my hands.
So I received the mug and shot glass and tried them out right away. I washed them very well and then pat them dry. I added ice and some soda to the copper mug. My drink definitely was nice and super cold. I am one of those type of people who can't stand cold drinks without ice. But this mug keeps my drink so cold, I could probably skip the ice and be okay with it. The metal must lock in the coldness, helping it remain cooler for much longer. And it does work. I enjoyed my ice cold drink very much. It kept it cold for quite a long time. I also like the old fashioned look of the copper mug. Seems sort of like a relic from the past. It is a cool addition to my kitchen that's a bit unusual. I will definitely use it when I have guests to show it off a bit.
