Amazon Product Reviewer

I have been reviewing products on Amazon for several months now and thought I would let you guys in on this great opportunity. I know some of you are already aware of these great reviews, this is for all of you who are not. Quite a few products you can get totally FREE and some you can receive at a deep, deep discount. I usually only choose reviews that are FREE-$1 unless it's an item I really want and I am willing to pay the discounted price. There are actually many Amazon Review sites out there. Some are better than others, just like anything else in life.
Step One
Be an Amazon member and hopefully have Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime allows you to get FREE 2 Day Shipping. Many Amazon reviews offered will charge you a shipping fee if you do not have Prime. Occasionally(not too often) you will get reviews that even Prime does not cover the shipping, so be sure to read all the details. There are some here and there that won't charge for shipping or they will give you a free shipping code. There is an Amazon Prime Trial available to try it out.
Step Two
Understand how to do a proper Amazon review and always be sure to do it in a timely manner. Each site has different policies on when they want the reviews done. (most say 3-5 days after receiving the product, I would just get it done ASAP)
Be aware that most companies will be looking for a 4-5 star review. If you have an issue with the product and feel it deserves a lower rating than that, you may have to contact the company before posting your review. Personally, most products I have received, are great products. So rarely do I have an issue with a product.
Amazon reviews should be at least 75 words or more (not including the disclosure) and should be descriptive and helpful to someone who is interested in buying the product. Don't be overly repetitious. Speak from your personal experience. Tell them exactly what happened when you tried the product, the results, the details, etc. See my Amazon Profile for examples of acceptable reviews. Also please read the Amazon Guidelines.
You must add a disclosure to every Amazon review if you got it free or at a discount. Use "I received this product for free(or at a discount) in exchange for an honest, unbiased product review." Some add it at the beginning of their reviews, I add it at the end. It really doesn't matter as long as it's there. Otherwise Amazon will kick your review off. Plain and simple. I also add to mine "All opinions expressed are truly my own." I have seen others add "I was in no way asked to give a positive review." It's up to you on that.
Below in the picture I have included a few things to look for when doing reviews. First off, look under "Your Account" then scroll down until you see "Personalization" and then "Your Public Profile". This is where you can see your profile, ranking, and reviews. Also, you can select "Your Account" and then "Orders" to scroll down and find the products to select and "Write A Product Review." Also "Leave Seller Feedback" which is only about your order itself. Telling whether it was received quickly, accurately, and if you feel they are a good seller is optional. Do not leave that sort of information on your product review though.
Lastly, it may take a little while to receive an email saying your "Amazon review is live". Most companies want you to submit your review "permalink" back to them. When you get the email click "See Review" and then below the review select "Permalink". Then copy and paste the link that is up top in the search bar area. You should see the word "perm" within the link. If your review is rejected, be sure to try again. Check to see if your review was done correctly and that the disclosure was added. Photos and videos may be added to your review , but in most cases , as far as regarding the sites I am about to mention, they are optional. If you do add them, make sure they are good quality pictures and videos. Also use your Permalink to paste and share your review with friends. This may lead to some of your reviews being marked helpful or receiving comments which helps increase your rank. IN NO WAY are you allowed to encourage friends to do this. You can simply share your link.

Step Three
Sign up with Amazon review sites. Again, some are better than others. Some are totally FREE, some are at a discount. There are also some Amazon review pages on Facebook, you can search for them in the Facebook search bar. Personally, I do not recommend them overall. I do have a couple that are good, but I am not sure if I am allowed to invite anyone to the group. If you are like me and don't have time for petty drama not to mention some of them can be confusing on how they work, I would avoid the Facebook ones. That is completely your choice. I also recommend not overwhelming yourself with several reviews at one time. Things can get hectic and quite confusing if you accept too many reviews at once. Just something to keep in mind. Please feel free to contact me or comment below if I can be of any assistance.

How To Pitch A Company
You can also "pitch" a company yourself. If you have a good rank on Amazon or are a blogger you may have better luck with this. You can contact a company( I usually choose ones that don't have many reviews) and say something like "I love your products, if you ever need any product reviews please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to provide an honest review in exchange for a free or low cost product. (up to you if you want to try for free only) Here is my Amazon profile/blog/analytics/media kit if you care to check it out." See pics below on how to message each company. (if it says fulfilled by Amazon or only available from these other sellers I skip those) Then wait to see if they get in touch with you. Good luck. PLEASE NOTE: No one is guaranteed to get any products or even hear back from the company BUT it's worth a shot. I have received dozens of items this way so far and have "pitched" a lot of companies. Out of every 10 pitches, I may get 2 or 3 responses on average. It just depends on the item you are pitching and your Amazon rank. I get a better response on some things over others. So it may be hit and miss guys.
