     I have tried a couple of different electric foot files. I have to say that this one works really great if you have rough, dry feet. Actually, for the most part I like this one much better than my old one. It does a really good job of getting the dead skin off. It works into the skin a bit better and gets all the rough spots as smooth as can be. Just apply gentle pressure until the head tilts back slightly and smooth over the rough areas for a few seconds. I was able to get both feet smooth and nice in just a few minutes. It is really amazing. 
     This is excellent not only for dry flaky skin, but for calluses too. I had a callus near my heel area and after using this foot file, it has been completely filed away. It is such a relief to get rid of these rough spots. Plus this one plugs into the wall. My old foot file was a bit of a pain because it had to be charged often and it seemed to lose power quickly. This one has consistent, even power which I really love. The file itself seems to be fairly long lasting. I have done my feet a few times and it's still holding up really well. I am really  thrilled with this Electronic Pedicure Foot File by PediWell and I highly recommend it.
